Shiloh Park

The Shiloh Park located at 922 Church Street, Morrisville, NC, USA, offers an immersive experience into one of North Carolina’s first free African American communities established around 1852 by Jeremiah Morris. Notably, the area boasts a longstanding history dating back to the early 1830s with prominent families like the Mayos, Barbees, Greens, Burroughs, Weavers, Mills and others having owned farms in the region. The park is home to amenities such as a ball field, picnic shelter, outdoor basketball court, playground, multi-purpose play area, restroom/concession building, and rentable facilities. It also houses the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church built in 1867.
