The Price-Prather House, located in Williamsville, Illinois, is a historically significant Italianate house built in 1868 for livestock breeder James R. Price. The house features a multi-component slate roof, a bracketed and dentillated cornice, a wraparound front porch, and long arched windows with brick hoods. Cattle breeder John F. Prather purchased the property in 1904, which then became known as the Price-Prather House. The house is notable for its unique architecture and historical background, as it stands as one of the few remaining examples of Italianate homes in the region.
