The Paia Bay Bunker, also known as a pillbox, is an old bunker built during World War II in Paia, Hawaii. Its located on the north shore of Maui at Paia Bay, which was considered a possible invasion point back then. Today, Paia Bay is popular for bodyboarding and bodysurfing due to its excellent near-shore surf break. The Pāʻia Youth and Cultural Center (PYCC) also calls this area home. Despite some conflicting accounts about the bunkers history, it still stands as a historical landmark in the region.
