North Powder Fire Station

North Powder Rural Fire Protection District is a volunteer-based organization that serves the community of North Powder, Oregon. The fire station at 710 E St., declared ready for service in March 2021, is a hub of activity for this dedicated group of first responders. The fire station has been actively involved in various incidents, such as the one that occurred on April 19, 2021, at Spring Grove Gulch Area where around 50 acres were burned mostly uphill to the southwest. This brave team is always ready to protect the community and its surrounding areas from fires and other emergencies.

In addition to fire protection services, the North Powder Fire Station has a unique plan in place – they intend to incorporate a new library into the building, which will open on the south end of the structure. This innovative combination of emergency services and resources for learning and personal growth is a testament to the dedication of the volunteers who serve the community through the North Powder Rural Fire Protection District.
