New Braunfels Veterans Memorial

As you stand in front of New Braunfels Veterans Memorial, its impossible not to feel a sense of reverence for the brave souls who once called this area home. Established to recognize the service of local citizens who fought for our country, the memorial features a granite monument that pays homage to those who lost their lives in both World War I and II. This park was initially funded by Mr. & Mrs., as a way to pay tribute to the countless men and women who bravely served during World War I. In 1977, a stone marker was added to the park to honor those who fought in the Vietnam War. As you walk through the park, it serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by local veterans, while also standing as a symbol of German immigration to central and western Texas.

The New Braunfels Veterans Memorial is not only a site with historical significance but also a place where visitors can come to pay their respects to those who have served our country. As you take in the beauty of this park, take a moment to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who came before us, and remember that their actions continue to shape the world we live in today.
