His wife, Alice, added her touch with a dressmaking shop, making the building a versatile establishment in the town.

Over the years, the building adapted to the community’s needs. In 1939, it transformed into a barbershop, showcasing its ability to evolve with the times. Fast forward to the present day, Lockeford Sausage has taken the baton in serving the community, though now in a different location. Emerging from humble beginnings, the store has become famous for its delicious sausages, drawing visitors from near and far, especially during special events like the Super Bowl weekend.
