After Harold Reskin’s passing in 1996, his wife Merle honored his wishes by donating the house to the village of Glendale Heights. This act of generosity was a significant milestone in the town’s history, and in 2009, as part of the village’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the house was grandly reopened after meticulous restoration work.
